The Reef Credit Standard governs the water quality credits issued so far, from projects in the Great Barrier Reef catchments of North Queensland. Credits already issued stay pinned to this standard. Provenance is never rewritten.

ACWIS, the Australasian Catchment Water Improvement Standard, is the expanded and updated version. New water methodologies come through ACWIS, and existing methodologies move across over time.
