The pathway to verified outcomes
A Methodology sets out the specific rules, requirements and procedures for developing a project under the ENVOMARK framework. They detail how outcomes are measured, monitored, and verified to ensure they are credible, consistent and aligned with the applicable ENVOMRK Standard.
How one is developed
From development to approval
Any appropriately skilled individual or group can develop methodologies, which then face peer review and public consultation before approval.
There are currently four approved methodologies for Reef Credit projects: three under the Reef Credit Standard and one under ACWIS. A further methodology is currently under review.
