The Cassowary Credit Scheme governs the biodiversity credits issued so far, from rainforest restoration projects in the Wet Tropics of North Queensland. Credits already issued stay pinned to this scheme. Provenance is never rewritten.

ABIS, the Australasian Biodiversity Improvement Standard, is the expanded and updated version. New biodiversity methodologies come through ABIS.
