Once you have identified a project and an outcome that suit your corporate social responsibility commitments or compliance obligations, contact the Project Proponent directly to ask whether Credits are available and in what quantity. Purchases are made at arm’s length from Eco-Markets, which has no ability to influence price. That separation is what protects the integrity of the Value Nature Framework.
An ENVOMARK Credit grants its owner the exclusive right to a verified, measurable environmental claim. Once you buy a Credit and make the claim, that Credit is retired for good. Credits can be held and retired at different times, with each retirement supporting a single claim towards your compliance or ESG goals. ENVOMARK Credits are not a licensed financial asset class that requires reporting.
The mark is applied only to Standards, Methodologies, Projects and Credits that meet a minimum bar for integrity, transparency and rigour. It is the culmination of Eco-Markets’ governance, expertise and consultation. Where the mark appears, buyers can be confident the outcome has been measured, quantified, verified and already achieved. It is a consistent signal of integrity, so buyers can purchase repeatedly without taking on integrity or greenwashing risk.
An ENVOMARK Credit represents an environmental outcome that has been measured, independently verified, and can only be claimed once. An ENVOMARK Reef Credit (DIN), for instance, represents a kilogram of dissolved inorganic nitrogen prevented from entering the Great Barrier Reef. That distinction matters, because activity on land does not always translate into an improvement in Reef water quality. An ENVOMARK claim rests on an outcome that has already been achieved.
Verification is carried out by independent verifiers approved by ENVOMARK. They review and approve the verification reports prepared by proponents. Eco-Markets then reviews those reports before any Credits are issued.
